Ukrainian Territorial Defense Foces have destroyed a Russian boat in southern Ukraine as the occupiers attempted to carry out a landing operation, according to the official Telegram channel of the Odesa city administration.
The video captures the actions of the 126th Territorial Defense Brigade soldiers. Utilizing a drone, the defenders successfully struck the enemy boat during their attempt to land a landing force. Following the precise hit, there were no signs of life from the Russian personnel.
It is noted that the aggressors aimed to land on the right bank of the Dnipro River in southern Ukraine.
The situation in Southern Ukraine
Previously, Ukrainian military forces liberated Kherson and the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region last autumn. Subsequently, the occupiers began to terrorize the civilian population with constant shelling.
Moreover, the aggressors do not abandon plans to recapture lost territories. As a result, they resort to provocations, such as attempting to land on the right bank of the Kherson region.
Recently, Ukrainian fighters destroyed three Russian boats in southern Ukraine.
