Ukrainian team NAVI loses at PGL Astana CS2 tournament: What awaits team now Ukrainian NAVI lost the match at PGL Astana

Ukrainian team NAVI (Natus Vincere) suffered a painful defeat at the major CS2 tournament PGL Astana. In a tense quarterfinal, the Danish team Astralis beat NAVI with a score of 2:1, denying them a chance to reach the final, as reported by SPORT.UA.

The first map (Nuke) was evenly matched at the start, but in the decisive moments, Astralis player "device" secured a key round and helped the Danes snatch the victory. On the second map (Mirage), the Ukrainians looked much more confident and tied the score — here, Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov shined by controlling the game on defense.

However, on the third and final map (Ancient), Astralis completely outplayed their opponents. Thanks to precise team coordination and the strong performance of Victor "Staehr" Staehr, the Danes won by a large margin and advanced to the semifinals.

NAVI players tried to turn the tide of the match, but it wasn’t enough. Some team members, including b1t and team captain Aleksib, showed an unconvincing performance. After the match, NAVI’s head coach Andrii "B1ad3" Horodenskyi admitted that such a result may lead the team to make roster changes.

Now, NAVI's chances of qualifying for the playoffs of the next major tournament, the Austin Major, are in serious doubt. If the situation does not improve, fans may see a revamped Ukrainian lineup next season.
