Ukrainian soldiers destroyed more than 77,000 enemy targets with drones in March, which is 10% more than in February, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Facebook.

The general noted that one of Ukraine's key priorities remains increasing the combat capabilities of unmanned systems on the battlefield. The growing role of drones allows for saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.

"Just in March, with the help of various types of drones, more than 77,000 enemy targets were hit and destroyed — this is 10% more than in February," Syrskyi added.

He thanked the soldiers for their professional and effective execution of combat tasks.

Use of drones

Ukrainian soldiers almost daily publish videos showing the destruction of enemy equipment using drones. The Ukrainian Armed Forces use both kamikaze drones and regular drones to drop shells.

For example, on April 6, the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops released a video of the destruction of a Russian tank with the help of a drone.

Recently, Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed a 2S5 Hiatsynt-S self-propelled artillery system, a Tiger armored combat vehicle, and more using drones.
