According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Telegram channel, rescuers came under fire from Russian occupiers while extinguishing a fire in Donetsk region.

The incident occurred in Toretsk, Donetsk region.

"The enemy not only ruthlessly destroys everything in its path, but also insidiously targets our men who are extinguishing fires caused by shelling. Despite the constant threat to their lives, rescuers continue to carry out their duties every day," the press service of the Ministry added.

Situation in Donetsk Oblast Russian occupiers regularly strike the region, not only hitting the frontline settlements but also targeting cities in the relative rear.

As reported by Head of the Donetsk Military-Civilian Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, in the past 24 hours, the enemy claimed the lives of two civilians in Donetsk Oblast: one in Kostyantynivka and the other in Avdiivka. Additionally, two others were injured due to hostile shelling.
