Russian forces are attempting to disguise ammunition depots in Crimea, but partisans continue to locate them despite the thorough camouflage, the partisan movement ATESH reports.

"A spy discovered an ammunition depot near the settlement of Dobrushyne. During reconnaissance, he uncovered a camouflaged ammunition depot located on the outskirts of the settlement," the statement says.

According to the partisans, equipment and personnel were moving near the site.

"The depot itself is surrounded by fortifications," the report adds.

Despite the efforts to place the depot in a remote area and camouflage it, partisans were able to find it.

Russian forces seized the Ukrainian peninsula in 2014. Currently, there are numerous military facilities in Crimea responsible for supplying Russian troops not only in Crimea but also at the front in Ukraine. For instance, in early December, partisans uncovered a Russian army deployment at a resort in Crimea.

Russia's tactics for disguising key targets

Russian troops occupied the Ukrainian peninsula in 2014. Currently, a large number of military facilities are operating in Crimea, which are responsible for supplying the Russian group of troops not only in Crimea, but also on the front in Ukraine. Thus, in early December, partisans discovered the location of the Russian army at a recreation center in Crimea.

Disguising important facilities has already become a common practice for the Russian army. In September, partisans conducted a reconnaissance of the Russian base in the village of Yalynske in the Donetsk region. Despite the occupiers' careful camouflage, they still managed to detect it.

The closer to the front line, the more disguised facilities the Russians have. Despite such precautions, partisans continue to detect them.
