Partisans discover Russian army's location in recreation center in Crimea (photos)
The partisan movement ATESH in Crimea has recorded the hidden location of Russian military forces in the settlement of Marine in the Chornomorskyi district.
According to the partisans, the Russians have stationed their equipment and personnel in a recreation center. Armored URAL trucks, ATVs, and motorcycles used by the occupiers were found there.
It was confirmed that the base is located at a resort on Zelena Street in the settlement of Marine.
"The occupiers are well aware that placing troops at civilian sites is a crime, but they continue to disregard the laws and customs of war, putting the local population in danger," noted ATESH.
Situation in Crimea
Russian forces have occupied the Crimean peninsula for over 10 years. During this time, the occupiers have set up numerous military facilities there. Crimea became a springboard for the invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
However, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to strike at targets in Crimea, with the possibility of a third strike on the Crimean Bridge.
Additionally, the Russians are constantly strengthening their defense of Crimea, fearing an offensive by Ukrainian forces. In particular, Russia is increasing its control over Crimea's railway system.
