Ukrainian paratroopers repel multiple enemy assaults in Kursk region
Ukrainian paratroopers, together with allied units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, thwarted several assault actions by the enemy in the Kursk region. The Russian forces suffered significant losses, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Russian military continue their attempts to push Ukrainian Defense Forces out of Russia's Kursk region. Assault actions against Ukrainian positions take place almost daily. The enemy sends infantry reinforced with armored vehicles into battle," the video caption says.
Despite this, the enemy's assault groups are shattered by the Ukrainian paratroopers' resilience, courage, and military skill. Several enemy attacks were recently repelled, resulting in heavy losses for Russians in personnel and armored vehicles.
Ukrainian operation in Kursk region
Last year, Ukrainian forces managed to break through the border and enter the Kursk region. As a result, the Russians were forced to enlist North Korean soldiers, who have been suffering massive casualties.
In particular, the Ukrainian Defense Forces captured two North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region for the first time. One of them was taken prisoner on January 9.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during the Ukrainian military operation in the Kursk region, the Russian army lost over 38,000 soldiers.
