Ukrainian Navy spokesperson reveals number of Russian ships destroyed by Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian military has already destroyed 28 Russian ships. This list includes the submarine, according to the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk.
"The total number is 28, including the destroyed submarine, which was hit in dry dock," he stated.
However, according to the spokesperson, the qualitative factor is just as important as the quantitative one.
"Among the destroyed ships are three cruise missile carriers, a submarine, and two new ships, the newest Askold and Cyclone, representing almost all classes, from the flagship, which was a missile cruiser, to missile boats designed for small troop transfers and patrols, such as Raptor, Serna, and Tuna," said Pletenchuk.
Damage to the Rostov-on-Don submarine
In September 2023, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
Later, RBC-Ukraine reported that Ukraine had conducted another successful attack on Russian targets in occupied Sevastopol. As a result, the large landing ship Minsk was destroyed, and the Rostov-on-Don submarine was damaged.
