The Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the strike on the Russian military amphibious ship Ivan Khurs. He is currently in an incapacitated state, according to the spokesperson for the Naval Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Pletenchuk.

"As for the Ivan Khurs, we can confirm damage to the reconnaissance equipment in the assault part of the ship. That is it is not combat-ready now, it cannot perform its assigned tasks," Pletenchuk notes.

Also, the spokesperson of the Navy confirmed the strike on two large amphibious ships Azov and Yamal.

"Yamal has already finished docking and repairs, Azov was still undergoing repairs," he says.

As Pletenchuk notes, it was the best moment to inflict fire damage on these vessels.

"This is returning to the constant questions, where the Russian occupiers are constantly repairing their ships and whether it is dangerous. It is dangerous as practice shows," he adds.
