Ukrainian military destroys Russian gun position on Zaporizhzhia front
Ukrainian reconnaissance men attacked a Russian gun position in the Zaporizhzhia region with drones, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
The footage shows the work of the Kryla (Wings in Ukrainian - ed.) special forces unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine's Active Action Department. The soldiers discovered and destroyed a Russian gun position in the Zaporizhzhia region.
To eliminate the Russian target, the reconnaissance men used two Darts aircraft-type kamikazes with three-kilogram combined ammunition. Also, the reconnaissance men used three Babay-Heavy FPVs with one-and-a-half kilogram cumulative shots.
Other DIU special operations
Since the beginning of full-scale Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the DIU's fighters have conducted dozens of operations, attacking Russian defense plants, refineries, oil depots, ships, and other targets.
For example, recently, the DIU, in cooperation with other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, struck at the Kombinat Kristal oil depot in Engels, Saratov region. It provided fuel to the Engels-2 military airfield, where Russian strategic aviation is based.
According to media reports, in 2024, Ukraine carried out at least 81 strikes against Russian refineries and oil depots.
