Ukrainian intelligence intercepts talks of North Korean military
Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between the DPRK military. They were speaking Korean, according to an intelligence statement.
On November 9, Ukrainian military intelligence intercepted radio conversations of the DPRK military Russia involved in the war against Ukraine.
“North Koreans deployed to perform tasks in the Kursk region are broadcasting in Korean,” the statement reads.
In the conversation, the DPRK soldier first calls for a repairman and then orders the group to return immediately.
Participation of DPRK troops in the war against Ukraine
It became known in early October that the DPRK was sending troops to Ukraine, led by three generals.
Later, it was reported their number exceeded 10,000 troops, and they would begin to take part in the fighting at the front in November. Ukraine's intelligence also learned what the Russians armed the DPRK military with.
In early November, the DPRK military came under fire in the Kursk region. Russian marines, together with the DPRK military, launched an offensive in the Kursk region on November 7. But they suffered losses.
