Ukrainian intel confirms elimination of Colonel behind Russian kamikaze drone program
On the night of September 27, Colonel Alexei Kolomeitsev of the Russian Armed Forces was killed in Moscow region. He trained drone operators and managed a specialized center, according to RBC-Ukraine's source.
According to sources in Ukrainian military intelligence, the elimination of Kolomeitsev was the result of a special operation by a local resistance movement against the Kremlin regime, coordinated with the Main Intelligence Directorate (DIU) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
What is known about the Russian colonel
Kolomeytsev was involved in the training of Russian specialists in the use of UAVs, particularly operators and support staff for Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
"The resistance movement is expanding, increasing its activities across Russia and beyond, as we had warned earlier. Every Russian war criminal and every individual involved in the aggression against Ukraine is our target, regardless of rank, age, gender, or location. We will eliminate everyone who has Ukrainian blood on their hands until the Russian regime ends the war and answers for all its crimes," a source told the agency.
