President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Their meeting was closed to the press, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As Sybiha explained, during the meeting with Erdoğan, they discussed support for Ukraine's territorial integrity, emphasizing that Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories belong to Ukraine.

"I conveyed Ukraine’s interest in further developing cooperation between Ukraine and Türkiye, especially in defense area. I also underscored the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. We also discussed ways to a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace," Sybiha stated.

Ukraine's victory plan

Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented Ukraine's victory plan in Brussels. According to him, the majority of European Union leaders expressed support for this plan.

It was also previously reported that Sybiha would make an official visit to Türkiye. He was set to hold important high-level negotiations regarding Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation.
