Ukrainian military forces are striking at the rear of the occupiers in the Kherson region. They are also repelling attacks in other areas while simultaneously continuing their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, according to the General Staff.
"Our soldiers in the Kherson direction are engaged in counter-battery combat, delivering fire strikes on the enemy's rear positions," said the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Pavlo Kovalchuk.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction.
"They inflict losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line," he added.
What is happening on other fronts
On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces have repelled more than 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, and Nadiia in the Luhansk region.
On the Lyman front, defense forces have repelled over 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, Serebrianske forestry, and Spirne in the Donetsk region.
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian forces have repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Vasiukivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The defense forces of Ukraine continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region.
On the Avdiivka front, the enemy is not giving up attempts to encircle Avdiivka, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding their defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The enemy's offensive actions in the areas of Keramik, Avdiivka, Stepove, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region have been unsuccessful. Defense forces have repelled over 15 enemy attacks in this area.
On the Maryinka front, the enemy's storming actions were unsuccessful in the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Pobieda in the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian forces have repelled over 20 enemy attacks.
On the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Ukrainian defenders have repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region, and north of Pryiutne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Previously, the General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces continued to defend in the east and south and conducted an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. Over the past day, there have been approximately 80 clashes.
According to British intelligence, Russia's losses in the war have increased by 90% because of the occupiers' assaults in the Avdiivka area.
