Ukrainian Forces hit Russian command post in Kursk region - General Staff
Ukrainian defenders today, January 7, attacked a command post of Russian troops in the Kursk region. A precision strike was carried out, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On January 7, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a precision strike on the command post of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation near the village of Belaya (Kursk region)," the General Staff's statement read.

The General Staff clarified that such attacks are part of combat operations by Ukrainian defenders conducting military actions on Russian territory.
The General Staff assured that Ukraine will use all available methods to destroy enemy armed formations that threaten the safety of Ukrainians.
Strikes on occupiers in the Kursk region
It should be noted that on January 2, the General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a precision strike on an enemy command post in the village of Mariino, Kursk region.
A few hours before this, Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, stated that as a result of the strike on the Kursk region, the Russian 810th Brigade suffered significant losses.
Additionally, on December 25, it was reported that Ukrainian defenders attacked the command post of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade in Lgov, Kursk region. The Russians suffered officer casualties.
