Ukrainian forces hit Russian aircraft engine plant, General Staff says

Ukrainian forces carried out a series of targeted strikes on military facilities and a defense industry plant in several Russian regions and occupied territories, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Details of the strikes
Ukrainian forces successfully attacked several important enemy targets.
According to the General Staff, the targets included:
- Rostov region (Taganrog) — two Pantsir-S1 air defense systems were hit;
- Bryansk region (Beryozky) — a Russian radar station was destroyed;
- Donetsk — a facility used to store, prepare and launch attack drones was hit;
- Luhansk region (Petropavlivka) — a training center for FPV drone operators and the Akhmat unit were hit;
- Donetsk region (Snizhne) — the Snizhne Machine-Building Plant was hit.
What is known about the plant
The Snizhne Machine-Building Plant is an important part of Russia's defense industry.
The facility specializes in manufacturing components for gas turbine engines, including compressor and turbine blades.
Russia uses the plant's production capacity to supply engines for military aircraft.
The extent of the damage to all the facilities is still being assessed. Systematic strikes against key Russian military targets are continuing.
Previous strikes on Russian targets
Earlier, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of successful strikes on Russian military targets in Crimea, as well as in the Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The targets included a railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal, command posts and other important enemy positions.
In addition, the Defense Forces struck the Russian Mangust patrol boat, ammunition depots, drone launch and operator training facilities, as well as Russian reconnaissance equipment.
