In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders have halted the advance of Russian occupiers, destroying armored vehicles and thwarting an attempted breakthrough, the press service of the Khortytsia operational-strategic grouping of troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The enemy deployed a column of armored vehicles to transport personnel to forward positions, but this attempt was disrupted by defense forces.
Ukrainian artillery and FPV drone operators delivered precise strikes on enemy equipment. As a result, some of the armored vehicles were destroyed, while others were disabled.
Furthermore, the remnants of Russian assault groups attempting to retreat also came under drone and artillery fire.
The breakthrough attempt failed, and the positions remained under Ukrainian control. The enemy did not achieve success, and the tactical situation in this direction did not change.
As previously reported, Russian occupiers are amassing forces in central Toretsk. From there, the invaders are attempting assaults on the Toretska-Tsentralna mine and the city center near the Avangard stadium.
