Unmanned systems forces destroyed an enemy echelon air defense system in the Donetsk direction, according to the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to the report, operators from the Charlie company of the 14th Separate UAV Regiment, in cooperation with the 15th Chornyi Lis Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade, identified and struck three Russian surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems, along with a command vehicle of an anti-aircraft missile battalion.
The following systems were targeted:
- Tor (modification unspecified) – intercept range up to 15 km

Buk-M3 (destroyed) – the most advanced version, with a range up to 70 km

S-300 – capable of intercepting aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles at distances of up to 200 km
"The enemy uses air defense systems with various ranges to build a layered shield against Ukrainian aircraft, missiles, and UAVs in a particular area of the front," the statement said.
The destruction of the command vehicle either paralyzes or significantly disrupts the coordination of the enemy's missile battalion, creating vulnerable gaps in Russia’s airspace coverage.
Successes of Ukrainian soldiers
Earlier, we reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a Russian Osa surface-to-air missile system in the Vuhledar direction, weakening the enemy’s ability to defend its positions from aerial attacks.
Meanwhile, in the Vovchansk direction, Ukrainian forces successfully destroyed a Russian drone launch site, two communication antennas, and a Murom-M surveillance system, which the enemy had tried to disguise as a birdhouse.
