Famous Ukrainian fencer Olha Kharlan shared a touching birthday message for her fiancé, Italian fencer Luigi Samele, and posted a new photo.

Today, July 25, Kharlan's beloved turned 38.
"Happy birthday, my love! Thank you for making me the happiest woman. I'm so lucky! I love you endlessly!" she wrote in her post.
She also published new photos with her fiancé by the sea. The couple looks so harmonious and radiates happiness.

Olha Kharlan's personal life
Olha Kharlan is an Olympic champion and a multiple-time winner of world and European championships. Her fiancé, Luigi Samele, is an Italian fencer who has won four Olympic medals, placed at world championships numerous times, and is a three-time European champion.

The athletes have known each other for more than 15 years. Their first meeting took place in France when Olha was 15 and Luigi was 18. At the time, the Italian immediately noticed the Ukrainian athlete and even secretly took a photo of her as a keepsake.

They later met again at competitions, but by then, Kharlan was already married to Ukrainian fencer Dmytro Boiko, a medalist at world and European tournaments. Her communication with Luigi remained friendly.

After divorcing Boiko, Olha began a relationship with Samele in 2019.
In September 2024, Luigi proposed, and Olha said "yes." The couple is preparing for a wedding that will take place shortly.
