The Russian Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and gun system was destroyed in the Zaporizhzhia direction as a result of a Ukrainian drone strike.
According to intelligence, the occupying forces had placed the air defense system in an underground shelter, hoping to protect it from aerial attacks.
However, operators of unmanned systems from the Active Operations Department detected the target and carried out a precise strike. As a result of the attack, the system was completely destroyed.
"Occupiers attempted to hide their SAM system in an underground shelter, but the UAVs of the Active Operations Department worked in such a way that the equipment burned down completely," the HUR reported.
The HUR also published a video showing the moment the Russian equipment was hit and the aftermath of the strike.
