On the night of Friday, March 6, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck four self-propelled enemy air defense components in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, according to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi.

“The Buk SAM system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region and the medium-range S-300V SAM system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region were hunted by the Birds of the 9th battalion Kairos of the 414th Separate Brigade Madyar’s Birds of the Unmanned Systems Forces using the Ukrainian-made medium strike FP-2 with a 60 kg warhead,” the statement said.

Madyar said that the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun system and the Tor air defense system were struck by pilots of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces using the Ukrainian-made medium strike FP-2 with a 100 kg warhead.

Both air defense missile systems were located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Destruction of Russian equipment

Ukrainian military regularly reports the successful destruction of expensive Russian equipment and aircraft using drones.

The Defense Forces recently struck Russian Ka-52 and Mi-8 helicopters. Enemy surface-to-air missile systems were recently destroyed near Mariupol and Donetsk.

Madyar also reported the destruction of a Russian Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system at a firing position in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces from the Asgard battalion of the 412th Nemesis Brigade destroyed two Russian Tor-M2 air defense systems in a single night.

Earlier, the same units destroyed six more air defense and radar systems within 48 hours, which were key elements of the enemy’s layered air defense.
