Ukrainian designer Andre Tan shared which shoes will be fashionable this summer. He selected five pairs to become a "capsule" for the entire season.
Mules
"Open heels, refined shapes, leather or satin – mules are returning to the wardrobe as a sign of calm elegance," Andre said.
He recommends wearing them both with business suits and romantic dresses. According to the designer, kitten-heel models and minimalist designs are especially popular now.
Flip-flops
"This summer, flip-flops aren't just beach footwear. Leather models with flat or platform soles are part of urban looks in the 90s style," Tan notes.
Styling flip-flops is very easy. Andre advises wearing them with linen trousers, long skirts, or denim.
Ballet flats
Trending models this summer include:

- mini heels
- with straps
"They harmoniously pair with Bermuda shorts, baby doll dresses, and light sundresses. The key is balancing tenderness and relevance," the designer emphasized.
Loafers
Tan suggests wearing this footwear in a nontraditional way. Try styling them with socks or simply wearing them barefoot.
"Thick soles, metal hardware, and sometimes colorful variations. They perfectly complement both masculine and feminine looks," the fashion designer explained.
Retro sneakers
These sneakers pair well with denim, shorts, dresses, and oversized jackets. Comfortable and practical shoes can come in many forms.
"Sneakers made of distressed leather or fabric, with a simple logo or none. It's a return to authenticity and functionality," Andre said.
