Ukrainian band conquers Germany's The Voice — Crowd goes wild

The 15th season of The Voice recently kicked off in Germany, and from the very first episodes, Ukrainian participants have been in the spotlight. The band Elba became the standout of the show, surprising both the judges and the audience with their performance.
Ukrainian music on a major German stage
On The Voice of Germany, Elba performed the spring folk song "Verbova Doshechka," combining traditional singing, live instruments, and modern energy.
Their performance caused a sensation in the studio, with the coaches pressing their buttons even before the song ended.
The artists chose to join Rea Garvey's team, the German musician of Irish origin and founder of the band Reamonn.
According to the participants, Rea has long supported Ukraine and even has a home there where he helps Ukrainian children.
"Ukrainian music on Germany's biggest stage. We are so happy to participate in The Voice of Germany! And even more delighted to now be on Rea Garvey's team! Rea is not only a wonderful musician and coach but also a true friend of Ukraine. He has supported Ukrainians since the very first days of the war and has a home in Ukraine where he helps children. Your strength, courage, and love for Ukraine inspire us to sing even louder. Glory to Ukraine!" the band said.
Who Elba are
Elba is a trio of Ukrainian musicians combining ethnic sounds with contemporary performance:
Olena Popadiuk, a vocalist from Vinnytsia,
Solomiia Dyshliuk, vocals and guitar, from Lviv,
Daria Fomina, flute, sopilka, and saxophone, from Kharkiv

The band formed in the summer of 2023 when Olena and Solomiia met during charity concerts for Free People Voice, and Daria later joined them.
Symbolically, their first performance together took place at the legendary Indra Club, the same venue where The Beatles began their career.
In 2022-2023, this club became a venue for charity concerts supporting Ukraine.
