Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone burns down Russian positions and equipment in Kharkiv region (video)

Ukrainian border guards attacked Russian positions and destroyed Russian equipment in the Kharkiv region. They used a domestic drone called Baba Yaga, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
“Baba Yaga of the border guards of the Kharkiv detachment detected and destroyed three cars and three positions of the occupiers,” the report says.
The footage shows the drone dropping explosives on the positions and vehicles of the Russians, after which they explode.
Baba Yaga drone
The Vampire strike drone, also known as Baba Yaga, is a Ukrainian heavy-duty hexacopter. Its development began in the summer of 2022.
The drone can drop various munitions and is used for remote mining and payload transportation. Its arsenal includes special aerial bombs, mortar, anti-tank and anti-personnel mines.
The Vampire is equipped with six propellers and can lift up to 15 kilograms of cargo.
Russia's losses at the front
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has already lost more than 955,000 soldiers and dozens of pieces of equipment of various types since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
British intelligence notes that 2025 could be a record year for Russia in losses. In the first four months of the year, Russia lost approximately 160,000 soldiers.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that in 2024, Russia seized 4,168 square kilometers. The media estimated that 27 Russian soldiers died for every kilometer captured.
