Ukrainian army takes back Donbas: Novomykhailivka under Kyiv’s control again

Ukrainian forces have successfully regained control of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, driving out Russian troops and securing positions in the area, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence reports.
Intelligence fighters, together with the Third Corps of the Ukrainian Army, are reclaiming Ukraine’s occupied territories.
"Novomykhailivka is under the control of Ukrainian forces!" Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence stated.
The successful offensive operation was carried out by the forces of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, in particular the Artan unit, along with the 2nd Assault Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade.
At this stage, the Ukrainian units drove out the enemy and reestablished control over the settlement of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
Intercepts show the operation caught Russians by surprise. The enemy lost about a company of personnel and was forced to redeploy reserves from other parts of the front.
Thanks to the coordinated work of intelligence, assault troops, heavy equipment, and drones, Ukrainian units improved their tactical position and strengthened defenses in the sector.
As of now, Novomykhailivka has been cleared of Russians and is under full control of the Ukrainian army, with Ukrainian flags returning to where they belong.
