Ukrainian army reveals details of destruction of Shahed warehouse and enemy infrastructure in Kuban
During a nighttime strike on June 21 by Ukrainian Defense Forces on enemy targets in Russia's Krasnodar region, a storage site for Shahed kamikaze drones and accompanying infrastructure were destroyed, according to the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that the attack was organized and carried out by the Naval Forces in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
"The destruction of a Shahed drone storage site and associated infrastructure by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine, has been confirmed," the military statement reads.
The Naval Forces report that new satellite images confirm the destruction of storage and preparation sites for the Shahed-136/Geranium-2 drones, training buildings, command and communication points for these UAV crews located in the Krasnodar region.
It is noted that in addition to the strike capabilities, qualified instructors who were training personnel to launch the Shaheds, as well as cadets being trained to carry out attacks on Ukrainian territory using these kamikaze drones, were also eliminated.
"The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with their comrades from the Defense Forces, continue to destroy the enemy on land, at sea, and in the air," the Naval Forces statement concludes.
What preceded this
Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of June 21, strikes were carried out on four oil refineries in Russia.
Also that same night, Defense Forces attacked radar stations and radar reconnaissance centers of Russian forces in the Bryansk region and occupied Crimea.
Additionally, in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, storage and preparation sites for Shahed kamikaze drones were attacked. According to Ukrainian military sources, a barracks was also hit.
