Ukrainian army prevents Russian forces from advancing on Kupiansk direction
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders have thwarted an attempt by the enemy to advance towards Synkivka, Nevske, and Terni. Currently, two clashes are still ongoing, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the past day, there have been 124 military clashes.
The rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces have struck five enemy personnel concentration areas, four air defense systems, and one artillery system over the day.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy has attacked our defenders' positions in the Lyptsi and Vovchansk areas six times. Five attacks were repelled, and one battle is ongoing in the Vovchansk area. Russian forces have not achieved success, and the situation is under control.
In the Kupiansk direction, there have been no significant changes in the situation, with tension remaining in the Berestove and Stelmakhivka areas, where two clashes are currently ongoing. The enemy's intentions to advance towards Synkivka, Nevske, and Terni have failed. The situation is under the control of the Defense Forces units.
According to preliminary information, the enemy has lost 61 personnel today. Two vehicles have been destroyed, and a tank, two artillery systems, and one air defense system have been damaged.
The Siversk direction remains one of the most intense. Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have made 24 attempts to infiltrate the ranks of our units in the areas of Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Ivano-Darivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Vyimka. Our defenders have repelled 15 attacks, with nine clashes still ongoing. Defense forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation.
During the day, the enemy lost 91 soldiers killed and wounded. Our forces have also destroyed two tanks, a combat armored vehicle, an artillery system, and two electronic warfare systems.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces have attacked our positions in the areas of Kalynivka, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka five times. The situation is tense. Defense forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation in this direction.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces have attacked our positions in the areas of Zelene Pole, Novooleksandrivka, Novopokrovsk, Novoselivka Persha, Kalynove, Netailove, and Nevelske 35 times. Our defenders have repelled 26 attacks. The situation remains tense near Novooleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persha, where nine clashes are still ongoing. Our defenders are holding back the enemy.
In the Kurakhove direction, 10 enemy attempts to approach our positions in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Vodiane have been unsuccessful.
The situation in the Orikhiv direction has not changed significantly, with a battle still ongoing in the area of Mala Tokmachka. No position losses have been allowed, and the situation is under control of our defenders.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, Russian forces continue their attempts to push our defenders away from Krynky. Three enemy assault actions have failed.
There have been no significant changes on the rest of the fronts.
According to preliminary data from the General Staff, the Russian Federation intensified its actions in the Orikhiv direction on Monday, June 3. The fighting took place in the area of Mala Tokmachka.
