Ukrainian military caught the occupiers committing a new crime in Toretsk, Donetsk region. This has already become a common practice for the enemy, according to the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade, named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.

“Another violation of the rules of warfare by the Russian military was recorded by aerial reconnaissance of the Gyurza unit of the 28th Brigade in Toretsk,” the statement reads.

In particular, the invaders in disguise were spotted moving and conducting reconnaissance and sabotage activities in the city.

“In this way, the enemy infantry is trying to divert attention and disguise themselves. However, the same clothes, behavior and sometimes even weapons give them away,” the military said.

According to them, this complicates the work, because the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not shoot at everything that moves, as the occupiers do.

Situation in the Toretsk sector

On January 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked four areas where Russian troops were concentrated. A total of 184 combat engagements took place at the front.

The Russians are attacking the Pokrovske sector the most, with 77 attacks taking place there. As for the Toretsk sector, the occupants stormed Ukrainian positions six times in the areas of Toretsk and Diliyivka.
