Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy two Russian observation posts on left bank of Dnipro
Russian occupiers continue their attempts to dislodge Ukrainian troops on the left bank of the Dnipro River. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired on two enemy observation posts, according to the South operational command.
Over the past day, Russian troops made 3 unsuccessful attempts to assault but retreated after suffering losses in manpower and equipment.
At the same time, the Russians continue to conduct aerial reconnaissance, as well as to put pressure with artillery shelling, attack drones, and guided bombs. They have also resumed attacks with unguided aircraft missiles.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict fire on the enemy's locations, positions, and rear. Among the enemy's losses:
- 32 occupants;
- 1 Grad multiple rocket launcher system;
- 9 guns, including the Msta-B howitzer;
- 2 strike Lancets drones and one reconnaissance Merlin drone;
- 7 units of automotive equipment;
- 2 observation posts.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, February 1, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 1,000 Russian occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 386,230 troops.
