Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy another Russian Su-34 fighter jet
The Ukrainian military has shot down another Russian aircraft. The Su-34 became the seventh enemy aircraft shot down recently, according to Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk.
"This time, I can say that the Su-35 pilot was lucky - he maneuvered and no longer takes risks. As for the Su-34 crew, they join our 'eternal flight, brothers' section. I have good results of objective control so that no one doubts!" he writes.
Russian aircraft destruction
Over the past few days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down 7 Russian aircraft, including this one. Thus, on February 19, explosions were heard in Mariupol. The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the plane had gone down. Later, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk confirmed the incident, saying that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had shot down two more Russian aircraft in the east. According to Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, these aircraft were carrying out anti-aircraft missile strikes on Ukrainian positions.
On February 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian Su-34 fighter bomber in the east.
On February 17, it became known that the Ukrainian Air Force had destroyed three Russian aircraft - two Su-34 fighter-bombers and a Su-35 fighter. They were also shot down on the eastern front.
