Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 561 Russian invaders and 38 equipment units on Tavria front

Over the past day, February 27, Russian losses in the Tavria direction amounted to 561 invaders. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 38 pieces of Russian equipment, according to the Tavria Defense Forces.
During the day Russians:
- carried out 31 air strikes;
- conducted 66 combat engagements;
- made 1093 artillery attacks.
"Our defenders are steadfastly holding the line and conducting active operations in the designated areas," says Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of troops.
Avdiivka direction
Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
Novopavlivka direction
Russians tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 29 times in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and west of Pobeda in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian soldiers also repelled 4 more attacks in the areas south of Vuhledar, Staromaiorske, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
Orikhiv direction
Ukrainian soldiers repelled 8 enemy attacks near Malynivka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian military
Russian losses amounted to 561 invaders over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 38 units of Russian equipment, including:
- 7 tanks;
- 9 armored personnel carriers;
- 2 artillery systems;
- 1 air defense system;
- 19 vehicles.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed another important enemy object. 358 UAVs of various types have been neutralized or destroyed," the press service writes.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, February 27, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 1060 Russian occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 412,610 military personnel.
