Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 370 Russian invaders and 39 equipment units on Tavria front
Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 39 units of enemy equipment in the Tavria direction (Vitalii Nosach, RBC-Ukraine)
On the last day, February 6, Ukrainian troops destroyed 39 pieces of enemy equipment in the Tavria direction. They also neutralized 159 UAVs of various types, according to the joint press center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
During the day, the Russians:
- conducted 11 air strikes;
- engaged in 54 combat engagements;
- made 878 artillery attacks.
Avdiivka direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 21 Russian occupants' attacks near Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 8 attacks near Pervomaisk and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
Maryinka direction
The military continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 20 attacks were repelled.
Shakhtarsk direction
Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack south of Zolota Nyva, Donetsk region.
Zaporizhzhia direction
Four enemy attacks were repelled near Robotyne and west of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers
Russian losses in manpower amounted to 370 troops. Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 39 units of Russian equipment, including:
- 4 tanks;
- 11 armored personnel carriers;
- 5 artillery systems;
- 1 MLRS;
- 17 vehicles;
- 1 unit of special equipment.
"Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed two Russian ammunition depots. 159 UAVs of various types were neutralized," the press service adds.
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, February 6, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 890 Russian occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 391,470 soldiers.
