Ukrainian Armed Forces advance in Donetsk region - General Staff on progress at the front
Ukrainian defenders have liberated the village of Staromaiorske in the western part of the Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are also continuing offensive operations near Bakhmut, as reported by the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andriy Kovalov, during a televised marathon.
He stated that the Defense Forces are conducting offensive operations on three fronts - Bakhmut, Melitopol, and Berdyansk.
"Under intense enemy aviation and artillery fire, Ukrainian soldiers have liberated the settlement of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region. They are consolidating their positions on the achieved frontlines, inflicting artillery fire on detected enemy targets, and carrying out counter-battery measures," the spokesperson announced.
