Ukrainian air defense intercepts near 30 Russian missiles over Kyiv
During today's Russian attack, about 30 Russian missiles, including ballistic missiles, were hit by Ukrainian air defense forces over Kyiv and in the area of the capital, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
The previous Russian missile attack on the capital was carried out 44 days ago.
During the Russian attack on March 21, the Russians used Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers and ballistic missiles from the territory of the Russian Federation.
The air raid in the capital lasted almost three hours.
After complicated maneuvers in neighboring areas, the missiles came at Kyiv simultaneously from different directions.
"About three dozen enemy missiles, including ballistic missiles, were shot down by air defense forces and means over Kyiv and in the vicinity of the capital," the Kyiv City Military Administration says in a statement.
At this moment, two victims are known for certain - a girl of 11 years old and a man of 38 years old. No one was killed.
On the morning of March 21, during a large-scale air raid, Russians attacked Kyiv with missiles. Explosions were heard, and air defense systems were reported to be operating.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, ten people were injured in the attack. Two of them were hospitalized.
