Ukraine has won three more medals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. The awards went to table tennis players and shot putters, according to the International Paralympic Committee.

Table tennis players Viktor Didukh and Iryna Shynkariova became bronze medalists of the Games in Paris in the mixed doubles tournament (class XD17).

The Ukrainian Paralympians secured a medal on the second day of competition. They defeated their opponents from Brazil and reached the semifinals.

The Ukrainian Paralympians lost to the Chinese tandem in the semifinals. This is the ninth medal for Ukraine at the 2024 Paralympics and a historic one, as it is Ukraine's first-ever medal in the mixed at the Paralympic Games.

Two more medals at the 2024 Paralympics were won by Ukrainian shot putters Volodymyr Ponomarenko and Roman Danyliuk. They won silver and bronze in the F12 class.

Ponomarenko set a personal record with a shot put distance of 16.12 meters.

Ukrainians at 2024 Paralympics

Ukraine is represented at the 2024 Paralympic Games by 140 athletes, 96 men and 44 women.

On the first day of the competition, Ukrainian athletes won four medals - two silver and two bronze.

On the second day of the Paralympics, Ukrainian athletes won four more medals, including the first gold medal. After the second day of competition, Ukraine moved up to 13th place in the overall standings.
