Ukraine to receive US arms that can hit targets deep in Russia - US Ambassador to NATO

The US is providing Ukraine with weapons that allow strikes on more distant targets within Russian territory, states US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker.
According to the diplomat, Trump’s strategy is completely different from former President Joe Biden’s administration strategy in three key ways.
First, the ambassador noted, the American weapons currently being used on the front lines in Ukraine are not paid for by US taxpayers.
Second, he said, the US is negotiating with Russia, something that did not happen under the Biden administration.
Whitaker said that they were providing Ukraine with the capability to strike more distant targets within Russian territory.
He noted that Donald Trump has created a completely different situation than during Biden’s tenure, as he forced Vladimir Putin to come to the negotiating table.
According to the US Ambassador to NATO, this dialogue is not yet complete, but the parties are still negotiating, exchanging prisoners, and there is a lot of good news.
Whitaker emphasized that they all wanted the war to end, that it was not Donald Trump’s war, but he certainly wanted the killings to stop, wanted the strikes on Ukrainian cities to stop, and wanted the killings and deaths to end.
The US will provide Ukraine with over 3,000 long-range ERAM missiles and other military equipment worth a total of $825 million.
In addition, the Department of State has approved the delivery to Ukraine of Starlink communication services and equipment, as well as Patriot air defense systems.
Recently, Ambassador Whitaker did not rule out an increase in the volume of military aid from NATO countries, which could later be transferred to Ukraine.
