Ukraine takes drone production to Finland with new European project

Ukrainian UAV developer Airlogix has reached an agreement with Finnish company Innokas on cooperation in drone production. The two companies plan to establish additional manufacturing facilities in Finland that will operate using Ukrainian technologies, according to the Militarnyi portal.
The partnership will be carried out under the Build with Ukraine program. The goal of this particular initiative is to create additional production sites in Europe to meet the needs of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

Under the agreement, the technology and design solutions will remain Ukrainian. The Finnish side, in turn, will handle scaling and localization of production.
The next step will be to jointly develop the legal, technical, and production cooperation models. The parties are also considering the possibility of establishing a joint venture.
Thus, the future production facility in Finland is expected to combine Ukrainian innovations with Finnish manufacturing capabilities.
What drones does Airlogix produce?
The Ukrainian company specializes in the development and production of fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems.
Airlogix's primary product is the Hor tactical reconnaissance UAV. It is designed for artillery fire adjustment and detecting enemy targets at operational depth.
In addition, the company produces Anubis strike drones.
Context of the news
Ukraine and Finland are deepening cooperation in the field of drone production. Corresponding memorandums of cooperation were signed with the participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Finnish President Alexander Stubb during a roundtable on defense cooperation.
Finnish and Ukrainian companies are already entering into concrete agreements to launch joint production facilities, President Stubb said. He noted that 90% of the output will go to Ukraine, while 10% will remain in Finland.
