Ukraine strikes Russian FSB base, bridges and other key targets

Overnight, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck many Russian targets in the occupied territories and in Russia. The strikes hit an FSB outpost, 2 bridges, and other key targets, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Strike on FSB post in Kherson region
On the night of August 4, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a temporary deployment site of an FSB unit in the village of Shchaslyvtseve in the Kherson region.
Russian casualties are currently being assessed.
Bridges destroyed in Kursk and Zaporizhzhia regions
Ukrainian defenders also struck a road bridge across the Seim River near the village of Zvannoe in the Kursk region of Russia.
In addition, a railway bridge across the Molochna River near Svitlodolynske in the Zaporizhzhia region was struck. According to military sources, Russia used both bridges for military logistics and the movement of troops and equipment.
Repair units and facilities in Crimea and Donetsk region were struck
In addition to the bridges, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck many other Russian targets:
- Repair units of the Russian forces in Vovchansk and Vilne in the Donetsk region
- Communications and power supply station for Geran/Gerbera-type strike drones in Olenivka in the temporarily occupied Crimea
- Tower equipped with electronic warfare systems in Artemivka
- Russian command post and communications hub in Bakhmut, Donetsk region
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the Russian armed aggression," Ukraine's General Staff states.
Meanwhile, drones attacked Wildberries warehouses in the Moscow region. The attack caused a fire at the company's storage facilities.
Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck one of Russia's largest oil refineries, located 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
A fire broke out on the refinery's premises following the attack.
