Ukraine strikes Russian drone launch sites and electronic warfare system in Crimea

On August 28 and during the night of August 29, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck many Russian military targets, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrainian forces struck storage, training, and launch sites for Russian attack drones. These included facilities near Donetsk in the Donetsk region and in Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Separately, in occupied Crimea, near Znamenka, a Russian electronic warfare complex was struck.
Another target was a drone command post in Berestky, Donetsk region.
Ukraine's General Staff notes that the extent of the damage inflicted on Russia is currently being assessed.
Buk-M3 destruction
At the same time, the Ukrainian military confirmed another significant loss for the Russian army.
Based on an analysis of additional data, it was established that on August 28, a Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed in the Klyntsi area of the Bryansk region of Russia.
"Operations against key Russian military targets are ongoing," Ukraine's General Staff concludes.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa stated that Ukraine could move to a new phase of the war by intensifying long-range strikes against Russia. This refers, in particular, to energy and logistics infrastructure, as well as vessels of the shadow fleet.
According to Palisa, such strikes have not only an immediate but also a cumulative strategic effect on Russia.
