Ukraine strikes one of Russia's top 5 oil refineries and hits naval base in Crimea

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully struck several important Russian facilities overnight. This time, the enemy was unable to repel attacks on the Ryazan oil refinery, a boat base in Crimea, and a radar station, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One of the key targets for the Defense Forces was the Ryazan oil refinery, located in Russia’s Ryazan region.
This is one of the largest oil refineries in the country.
"Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces, in cooperation with the Russian resistance movement Black Spark, struck the Ryazan oil refinery," the Special Operations Forces said.
The plant’s capacity reaches about 17 million tons of oil per year.
"The enterprise produces automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and other petroleum products, which are used, in particular, to meet the needs of the military-industrial complex and the armed forces of Russia," the report stated.
As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the refinery.

Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also targeted a base for high-speed boats of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. This time, loud explosions were heard in the area of Mizhvodne, in occupied Crimea.
Russia uses this facility for the maintenance and support of high-speed boats. These vessels carry out patrols, coastal protection, logistical support, and other tasks in the interests of the enemy.
The Defense Forces also struck a radar station of the Russian army in the area of Pochep, in Russia’s Bryansk region.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also attacked:
- Storage, preparation and launch site for strike UAVs in Donetsk;
- Logistics and equipment warehouse in Portivske;
- Road bridge near Vyselky in the Donetsk region.
Recently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a major Russian industrial facility in Udmurtia.
