Ukraine strikes key Russian military targets, including Pantsir air defense system

Ukraine's Defense Forces have struck a number of Russian military targets. Among the sites hit were a Pantsir-S2 air defense system, drone command posts and locations used to launch attack UAVs, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Near the settlement of Seltso in Russia's Bryansk region, Ukrainian forces struck a Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system.

In Vynohradivka, Zaporizhzhia region, a drone command post and a temporary deployment site for a Russian drone unit came under attack.
Another important target was hit in Donetsk. There, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a site used to store, prepare, and launch attack UAVs.
"The systematic targeting of such facilities is aimed at reducing the intensity of the Russian army's use of attack drones and maximizing the degradation of its ability to carry out strikes against Ukrainian territory," the General Staff said.
What other targets were hit
In addition to facilities linked to Russia's air defense and drone systems, Ukrainian forces struck several other military targets.
In particular, a Russian military repair unit was hit in Mariupol, Donetsk region.
In Makiivka and Ustynivka, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck ammunition depots.
Another strike hit Nikolske, where a Russian military logistics and supplies depot was targeted.
According to the General Staff, the strikes took place on September 27 and overnight on September 28, 2026.
Earlier, on the night of September 25, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck three Russian enterprises involved in missile production.
They included the Iskra Plant in Ulyanovsk, the Efremov Synthetic Rubber Plant, and Voronezhsintezkauchuk.
Iskra is involved in the production of Kh-59M2/M2A missiles and the Pantsir-S1 system, while the other two enterprises produce components for solid rocket fuel, including for Iskander missiles.
