Iranian attacks on Azerbaijan
It should be recalled that Azerbaijan was among the countries targeted by Iranian attacks.
In March, a drone from the Islamic Republic struck Nakhchivan International Airport, causing a fire at the site.
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry reported that another Iranian drone crashed near a school building in the village of Shekarabad.
At the time, Azerbaijan stated it was preparing response measures to protect its territorial integrity, sovereignty, and citizens.
Earlier, Azerbaijan had already strengthened its military presence along the border with Iran and placed part of its army on heightened combat readiness.
