Ukrainian marines from the 37th Separate Brigade confirmed control over the village of Dachne in Dnipropetrovsk region, refuting yet another piece of Russian disinformation, the press service of the Ukrainian Navy reports.

What happens

On July 6, Ukrainian fighters of the 2nd Marine Battalion released a video from the settlement, clearly showing their brigade's flag raised over Dachne.

In this way, the Ukrainian military refuted the statements of Russian propagandists about the alleged capture of this village by the enemy.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasize that this is not just a symbol - it is confirmation of the full and unquestionable control of the Defense Forces over the territory.

Ukrainian marines also assured that they remain in their positions and are ready to fight to the end.

"This is a clear reminder to the enemy: we are here, and we are ready to fight to the end! Not a single meter of our land will we give up without a fight," the statement says.

The public video was a response to a Russian information operation that in recent days had tried to promote a narrative of "successes."

Russian fake news about occupation

Earlier, videos published by Russian propagandists appeared on social networks.

They were accompanied by captions claiming that Russian troops were allegedly already on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region, particularly in the village of Dachne.

At the request of RBC-Ukraine, the General Staff reported that these statements by the enemy are untrue.
