Ukraine's Intelligence drones blow up oil depot in Bryansk, Russia - Sources
Drones of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence and Defense Forces attacked a fuel and energy complex in Russia's Bryansk region overnight on Wednesday, December 11, according to the sources within the intelligence services.
According to intelligence sources, a fire strike hit the Neftebaza Bryanskaya (Bryansk Oil Depot) between 12:00 and 12:30 AM Kyiv time on December 11.
A source in Defense Intelligence (GUR) reported that at least two tanks of the fuel and energy complex were damaged as a result of the attack by "restless birds." The Defense Forces emphasized that this facility is directly involved in supporting Russia's aggression against Ukraine, specifically by supplying fuel and lubricants to the occupying army.
The source also noted that local residents have been sharing footage of the attack, including "pre-Christmas fireworks" at the oil depot, on social media.
Explosions in Bryansk region
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of December 11, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems and the Defense Intelligence successfully struck an oil depot in Russia's Bryansk region.
Later, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the information about the attack. According to their data, the strike was carried out against the Bryansk oil depot, a pumping station of the Druzhba pipeline. This depot receives, stores, and distributes diesel fuel to tanker trucks and railway transport. It is also actively used to supply fuel to the enemy's occupying forces.
