Ukraine's Intelligence destroys critical Russian satellite equipment in Kursk region
Ukrainian intelligence destroyed important Russian satellite equipment in the Kursk region. The incident involves the Yamal satellites, according to the Defense Intelligence (GUR) website.
"On January 17, fighters of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine detected an enemy position with critical satellite equipment in the area of Tyotkino, Russia," the report states.
According to intelligence, FPV drones were used to destroy Russian devices enabling the operation of the Yamal-401, Yamal-402, and Yamal-300K satellites, which function in the Ka frequency band.
The hideout with enemy personnel was also hit by fire.
Defense Forces strike on Russian troops positions
The Defense Forces continue to target Russian positions on the frontlines in Ukraine, eliminating both personnel and critical Russian equipment.
According to the latest update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck sixteen areas of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentration, two command posts, four warehouses, two artillery systems, and another significant enemy target.
Notably, during the repulsion of an enemy assault in the Kursk region, over 20 North Korean soldiers were eliminated.
