Ukraine's Harnyk wins gold medal in judo at 2024 Paralympics

Anastasia Harnyk became a Paralympic champion in judo at the Paris Games. In the final, the Ukrainian judoka defeated Brazilian Erika Zoaga, reports the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine.
"Anastasia Harnyk is a Paralympic champion in judo at the Paris Games!" the Verkhovna Rada reported.
In the decisive match, the Ukrainian defeated her Brazilian rival, Erika Zoaga, and brought Ukraine another gold medal.
This is the fourth medal for our national judo team at the 2024 Paralympics and the second gold.
This year's Paralympic Games started in Paris in late summer. Ukraine has been showing excellent results throughout the competition.
