On the night of October 29, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of precision strikes on strategic targets of Russia's military-industrial complex. Three enterprises were hit, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,

On the night of October 29, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 2 oil refineries involved in supplying Russia's army. Explosions and fires were reported on the territory of the enterprises.

According to the Ukraine's General Staff, the Novospassky Oil Refinery in the village of Novospasskoye, Ulyanovsk Region, Russia, was hit.

This oil refinery is part of the Prominvest holding company. Its main activity is the primary processing of hydrocarbons. The refinery processes 600,000 tons of oil per year (0.2% of Russia's total processing).

The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and fuel oil, as well as supplying fuel for domestic consumption in Russia and exporting petroleum products.

The Mariysky Oil Refinery in the town of Tabashino, Republic of Mari El, was also hit. Explosions and a fire were reported at the facility.

The plant supplies the Volga Federal District's domestic needs. Its design processing capacity is 1.3 million tons per year, which is 0.5% of Russia's total processing.

It also has two primary oil processing units and a vacuum fuel oil processing unit.

"The results of the missions and the extent of the damage caused are being clarified," the headquarters added.

In addition, Ukrainian drones struck the Budyonovsky gas processing plant in the city of Budyonovsk, Stavropol Krai, Russia, last night.

A hit on the GPU-1 production facility was recorded. The design processing capacity of this gas processing plant is 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas per year. It supplies gas to a number of enterprises in the region and is a source of raw materials for the petrochemical industry.

"The destruction of the facilities of these enterprises on the territory of Russia reduces the Russian army's ability to conduct combat operations. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to implement measures aimed at stopping Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. To be continued...," Ukraine's General Staff adds.
