Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed an enemy stronghold in the Kursk region, which was used by Russia to launch drones against Ukraine, the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, on February 13, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a precision strike on an enemy military facility near the village of Yelizavetovka in Russia's Kursk region.

As a result of the strike, a platoon stronghold of the 28th Rifle Battalion of the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces was destroyed. The position had been used to launch drones that attacked Ukrainian defenders in the Sumy region.

This strike was part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's systematic efforts to neutralize threats and weaken the enemy’s military potential.

"The enemy must understand: any aggression against Ukraine will have irreversible consequences. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to decisively pursue and eliminate all hostile formations that threaten our state's security," the military emphasized.

Russian air attacks

Notably, last night, Russian forces once again attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Air defense forces were active in multiple regions.

Earlier, on February 13, Russian forces struck a residential area in the city of Sumy with attack drones.
