Installation of the Ukrainian flag in the village of Krynky, located on the left bank of the Kherson region, is important both for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for the civilian population, reports the spokesperson for the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk.

"The installation of the Ukrainian flag in Krynky is a response to the challenges posed by hostile propaganda in the information society," notes Humeniuk.

According to her, Russians are trying to convince the population of occupation, claiming they have abandoned them, and Ukrainian defenders have been driven out of their positions. However, everyone saw that on the left bank of the Kherson region, there was a Ukrainian flag and Defense Forces fighters.

Moreover, the assaults conducted by the Russians in the past day were futile and lamentable for them.

Humeniuk emphasizes that Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold the foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro and are working on its expansion.

"The installation of the flag in Krynky was necessary for our fighters to realize that they cannot be driven out from there. And also for the peaceful population of the left bank to feel that Ukraine is nearby," explains Humeniuk.

Background

Yesterday, February 6, in the evening, the DeepState project released a video showing Ukrainian defenders installing our country's flag in Krynky on the left bank of the Kherson region.

This happened against the backdrop of claims by the Russians that Krynky was "under their control," and they supposedly pushed everyone across the Dnipro.
