On the night of November 7, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. In the Solomianskyi district, three people were injured—including a child—and residential buildings and a kindergarten were damaged, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

The aftermath of the attack was documented at several locations in the Solomianskyi district:

  • In a five-story building, the facade of the first floor was partially destroyed; there was no fire and no casualties;
  • In three other five-story buildings, the blast wave shattered windows;
  • On the grounds of a kindergarten, a two-story building was destroyed;
  • Elsewhere, a truck and a non-residential building caught fire; the fire has been extinguished.

In total, three people were injured as a result of the attack. One person was injured near the building with shattered windows, and two others—including a child—were injured at other locations.

Later, the number of casualties in the capital rose to five, including a 14-year-old child. Two of the injured were hospitalized, Vitali Klitschko reported.

Russia attacked Kyiv three times last night. The occupiers first struck the capital with ballistic missiles on the evening of November 6. The second attack occurred around 1:00 a.m. Kyiv time. According to Vitali Klitschko, the enemy targeted infrastructure facilities in the suburbs.

A third wave of explosions rocked the capital around 3:00 a.m. An enemy drone destroyed a private home in Bohdanivka in the Kyiv region; rescuers pulled a man from the rubble.

Zelenskyy had warned of the threat of a massive strike earlier. According to him, Russia is preparing an attack on Ukraine’s bridges and energy infrastructure.
